Terms of Service
⚠️ This is a preliminary Terms of Service for the Campline waitlist and pre-launch period. A comprehensive Terms of Service reviewed by legal counsel will be published before the app launches. By using this website, you agree to the terms below.
1. What Campline Is
Campline is a digital tool that helps concert fans organize and manage camping queues outside event venues. Campline provides queue management, check-in verification, communication tools, and safety features.
2. What Campline Is Not
Campline is not an event organizer, security service, medical provider, or emergency response service. The venue owner is responsible for the property. The event promoter holds event permits. Campline is a communication and coordination tool only.
3. User Responsibility
By using Campline, you acknowledge that camping outdoors involves inherent risks including but not limited to weather exposure, fatigue, personal safety risks, and health risks. You choose to camp voluntarily and at your own responsibility. Campline provides tools to help you stay connected and informed, but these tools are not a substitute for personal judgment, emergency services, or professional medical care.
4. Account and Conduct
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One account per person. You agree not to use Campline to harass, threaten, or endanger other users. You agree not to attempt to manipulate your position in the queue through technical means (GPS spoofing, fake accounts, etc.). Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or permanent ban.
5. Queue Positions
Queue positions are managed through a combination of GPS verification, community governance, and automated systems. Campline does not guarantee any specific position in any queue. Positions may change due to verification failures, dispute resolutions, or system errors. Campline is not liable for changes in queue position.
6. Payments and Refunds
Event Pass and Campline Pro purchases are processed through the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). Refund policies follow the respective app store's refund policy. Campline does not guarantee that purchasing an Event Pass will result in any specific outcome at an event.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Campline's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid to Campline in the 12 months preceding the claim. Campline is not liable for the actions of other users, venue conditions, weather, event cancellations, or any physical harm that may occur at or near event venues.
8. Privacy
Your use of Campline is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the service (GPS during check-ins, Bluetooth proximity counts, phone number for verification). We do not collect audio, camera, motion, or continuous location data.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes between you and Campline shall be resolved through individual binding arbitration, not in court and not as part of a class action. You agree to waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits against Campline.
10. Minors
Users under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian review and agree to these Terms of Service on their behalf. Campline strongly recommends that minors camp only with a trusted adult present.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Campline after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
