🔒 Campline is built privacy-first. No camera. No microphone. No motion tracking. We collect the minimum data needed to verify your place in line — nothing more.
1. What We Collect

3. Data Retention & Deletion

4. Who Sees Your Data
Other campers: Your name, position, trust level, and online/away status are visible to others in your line. You control what's visible on your profile (camp history, positions, hours).
Sponsors and partners: They receive aggregate data only — line size, average camp time, demographic breakdown (if you opt in). They never receive your GPS location, phone number, chat messages, or any personal information.
Venues: Venue partners see aggregate safety data framed positively (e.g., "100% of campers verified safe overnight"). They do not see individual user data or incident details.
Law enforcement: We will only share personal data with law enforcement when required by valid legal process (court order, subpoena). We will notify you unless prohibited by law.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to request a copy of all data Campline holds about you. You have the right to request deletion of your account and associated data. You have the right to opt out of non-essential data collection. You have the right to correct inaccurate information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@campline.app.
6. GDPR & CCPA Compliance
Campline is designed to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If you are a resident of the EU or California, you have additional rights regarding your personal data. Contact us for details.
7. Waitlist Data
If you join our waitlist, we collect only your email address. We use it solely to notify you about Campline's launch and updates. We do not sell or share your email with third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by email.
